Welcome to my domain…
You've arrived at the official web site of Scary Tales. All of the content and site design is maintained personally by Jerry Boutot of Scary Tales. Although you can listen to all of my music for free from this site, I would encourage you to please purchase the music you like to help support my efforts. Without income and support from fans, there would be no music!. So please buy my music! You will need to be a registered member in order to participate in posts. Registration is free, and your email address will NEVER be shared or sold. Emails will be sent out occaisionally to keep you updated about any news, new releases, albums in the works, and sometimes I may even give away free tracks! You can listen to my entire catalog by clicking the PLAY button on the player above, or you can listen to just one album by clicking on the Albums link in the main toolbar. You can listen to each and every song while reading the lyrics at the same time by following the links to the songs in the toolbar and on each Album page. And you can comment and discuss the songs, the albums, and my mildly insane blog posts. I set this site up so that I can keep my fans informed as well as interact directly with them. Members can get into nested discussions with me and each other, pretty much on every page, or blog post!
A note on registering to interact on the site:
There is only one simple rule that I ask members to abide by. Be nice to each other. If you can't be a rational adult, don't post here. Don't flame other members. Don't bully each other. Don't be hurtful. Be kind, be considerate, and engage in intelligent discussion. Let's all prove that we're not mere monkeys with electricity. Violators will be taken to the edge of the river styx and tossed in… hehehe. Here's a list of some of the offerings and information you can get from Scary Tales Music:
- Read my blog, The Lost and Wandering Ship Of Fools
- Review and listen to the Albums, Songs and stories behind them (Lyrics Included)
- Review and listen to the Singles releases and the stories behind them (Lyrics Included)
- Purchase all of the albums and songs available for sale here from a single page.
- View my Facebook and Twitter Feeds and and become a fan or follow or both.
- Read About Me
I'm also available on ReverbNation, Jango Radio, Facebook and Twitter. Enjoy!

Artistry Has Its Awards
Celebrating the democracy of creativity and meritocracy of talent, The Independent Music Awards honor exceptional independent artists traditionally ignored by mass media and big box retailers.
For the past 11 years, artists and labels from around the world have found new fans and prominence through The IMAs. Produced by Music Resource Group, publisher of the popular industry networking database The Musician’s AtlasOnline, and producers of the original webTV series, Grooveable Feast, The IMAs uses its unrivaled access to performance, promotion & distribution opportunities to connect Winners and Nominees to new audiences and revenue opportunities.
Winners of The 11th IMAs will receive active promotions, distribution and performance opportunities that will place them in front of nearly 1 billion music fans. Artists, managers and labels credit The IMAs with increasing recognition among music fans and industry gatekeepers.
Submissions for The 12th Independent Music Awards will open in later this month.

Jerry B. of Scary Tales
Well, I have to say I’m really really proud of my Son, Jerry III. He will be graduating from High School this year, from the Randolph Technical Career Center (RTCC to those who know it). His area of study was Media and Communication. He learned a lot of stuff and I’m hoping he will go on to more serious work, but for right now, here’s his short film he made called “Bomb on a Bus”.
NOTE: Watch it all the way to the end – don’t assume it’s over because of the credits… I thought this was really funny and I hope you do too!
